For DesignDirect license file you will need your harddrive DOS serial
number.  To get this open a DOS box and run this "dir /p" and you should
get something like the following in the header at the top of the window.

Volume in drive C is unlabeled      Serial number is xxxx:xxxx
Directory of  C:\*


xxxx:xxxx is your harddrive serial number.

Send email request to   lic_admin@latticesemi.com

The request needs to include the harddrive serial number and ask
for a license file for Vantis DesignDirect Version 1.1 MACH starter
kit software and that you're a student in EE481 digital design lab at 
University of Kentucky.


The email reply should include the license file name "license.dat" as an 
attachment.  This file should be placed in a directory "c:\vantis\cpld11\license"

You should be good to go.  Any drastic changes to the harddrive such
as repartitioning might require a new license file.
