To create assignments by dragging and dropping node names from the Node Finder to the Floorplan Editor:

1. Compile the design.

2. Open the Current Assignments floorplan or open the Timing Closure floorplan

3. If you want to make an assignment to a region, show the Regions window.

4. Open the Node Finder.

5. To find the node you wish to assign, perform a node name search.

6. In the Nodes Found list of the Node Finder, select the node name you wish to assign, then drag it to a pin, logic cell, I/O cell, or embedded cell in the Current Assignments floorplan or the Timing Closure floorplan. More Details
