To run timing analysis:

1. If you have not already done so, create a new project or open an existing project.

2. (Optional) Perform one or more of the following procedures:  More Details

• Specify project-wide timing requirements.

• Create clock settings.

• Make individual timing assignments.

• Specify default external delays.

• Cut timing paths.

• Specify timing analysis reporting restrictions.

3. To start timing analysis, perform one of the following steps:

To run timing analysis as part of the compilation process, start the Compiler.

or

To run timing analysis separately after first-time project compilation, choose Start > Start Timing Analysis (Processing menu).  Shortcut  More Details




4. View the timing analysis results in the Compilation Report.
