You open this dialog box when you have a Chain Description File (.cdf) open, and you open another CDF, SRAM Object File (.sof), or Programmer Object File (.pof) using the Open command (File menu).

This dialog box allows you to either add a file to the chain of programming files or open a new Programmer window.
