A logic option that ignores CARRY_SUM buffers that are instantiated in the design. (This option also applies to MAX+PLUS^® II-style CARRY buffers.)

This option is ignored if it is applied to anything other than an individual CARRY_SUM buffer or to a design entity containing CARRY_SUM buffers. This option is available for all Altera^® devices supported by the Quartus^® II software.
