| Flash memory configuration | 
                Directs the Software Builder to generate a flash programming file for an ARM®-based Excalibur device. If you want the flash programming file to contain configuration data for the programmable logic device (PLD) portion of the ARM-based Excalibur device, type the name of a Slave Binary Image File (.sbi) in the Flash memory configuration box, or select an SBI File with Browse (...).  |

| Passive configuration | Directs the Software Builder to generate passive programming files for an ARM-based Excalibur device. 
 
 You must type the name of a programmable logic Partial SRAM Object File (.psof) in the Passive configuration box, or select a PSOF with Browse (...). The PSOF contains configuration data for the PLD portion of the ARM-based Excalibur device.  | 
  
You must perform the following actions in the CPU page of the Settings dialog box (Assignments menu) to make the options under Programming file generation available:
Select ARM®922T in the Embedded processor architecture list.
Select ADS Standard Tools or GNUPro for ARM in the Software toolset list.
Select Hexadecimal (Intel-Format) File (.hex) in the Output file format list.
