Overviews

The Start > Start Analysis & Synthesis command is available only when a project is open and a background process is not running.

Saves all open files, and then partially compiles the current design using only the following two Compiler modules:

• The Database Builder module, which checks the design's files for syntax and semantic errors, and performs netlist extraction to build a database that integrates all the design files in the design.

• The Logic Synthesizer module, which synthesizes and performs technology mapping on the logic in the design.
